Frequently Asked Questions

How does FairShare handle decimal rounding?

All financial math is calculated internally in exact integer paise (1/100th of ₹). Any remainder paise during division are distributed deterministically so the sum of shares always strictly equals the expense amount.

Can I use FairShare on my phone?

Yes! FairShare is fully mobile responsive and can be installed directly to your home screen as a Progressive Web App (PWA).

Is FairShare compatible with cPanel shared hosting?

Absolutely. It runs on standard PHP 8.1+ and MySQL/MariaDB with zero external server dependencies (no Node.js, Redis, or Docker needed on production).
